They make me laugh with their bloody game

They make me laugh.

Going onto Farmville this morning there is this message at the top of the screen:

Farmville performance has improved, but may still be experiencing issues. During this time, some farmers may experience lag or lost gifts/bonuses.

It’s true, their performance has, kind of, sometimes, improved.  This is good.

However, during the whole time I have played it, I have experienced lag, loss of gifts, bonuses, posting ability, sudden closures of the farm – meaning I have to replant or re-plough or whatever.

As I’ve always said, I would never, ever pay for this game (that is an option they give).  They only support those who give hard-earned cash to get non-real items and animals.  If I was paying I would be on to support a minimum of once per day and, really, that’s not what I want to be doing.

So, you may ask, why are you still playing?  Well, there’s the question of it NOT being a competition between F and I.  Although I am a little ahead of him, even if I started sometime after him.  Like any of these things I like to find ways to make it all quicker and easier or just succeed – only for computer stuff though and only if it ‘grabs’ me as interesting.  This is, after all, why Best Mate and I are, in fact, Best Mates!

And so, whilst not a competition, I like to be just ahead and, therefore, I play it still, in spite of the problems (new ones arrive daily).

However, both from me and F, there are lots of ‘bloody game’, etc.

UPDATE:  So, this evening the message has changed to this:-

Facebook performance has declined. During this time, some farmers may temporarily experience missing neighbors, lag or lost gifts/bonuses.

So, no change really then.  Bloody game!
