I have a little frightened

I know that I use some English in the same way as Italians.

This is annoying – even as I say certain things I think, “This is not English”. An example would be asking “Where is?” instead of “Where is he?”

But, hopefully, I don’t speak English with an Italian accent – as if I was an Italian speaking English!

For me, that would be quite dreadful but, as I have done many times in the past, I tend to pick up the ‘accent’ of the place I live, so now I am worried :-(

But this did make me laugh. A Northern Englishman speaking with a French accent. Seems a little ‘Allo ‘Allo :-D

And, just in case you’ve never seen it, here is part of an episode from ‘Allo ‘Allo:

See what I mean?

  1. Don’t worry,
you don’t speak with an Italian accent.
However, your English is very understandable in comparison to some Brits friends of mine which is a good thing :-)

The first video made me laugh. Very weird accent.

Speaking of strange accent… next week I’ll be in Edinburgh :-(
