So, V was supposed to move out before me.

Conversation – 1 or 2 nights ago.

A – They’re closing the gas, electric  and telephone.

V – Well, I don’t want the telephone.

A – But, that means no email or internet.

V – Oh.  Then I need it.

I’m not sure exactly how he’s going to manage without me.

(But, to be honest, I don’t know how I will manage without him either – for other things, obviously)
